Every year, the adidas Dream 100 and adidas Dream Mile bring the nation’s top junior athletes on the same track as world and Olympic champions – and 2019 is no exception.

Some of the names of high schoolers toeing the line in both the Boys’ and Girls’ adidas Dream Mile on June 16 were already announced last month, with the full list of teenage talent in all four events now confirmed.

Five boys and five girls will line up to compete for the Boys’ and Girls’ adidas Dream 100 belts, while in the adidas Dream Mile nine boys and ten girls will race for the trophy belt.

In 2018, Jamaica’s Briana Williams won the adidas Dream 100 in 11.35 and went on to win world junior titles in both the 100m and 200m that summer. Other successful adidas Dream alumni include Ajee’ Wilson, who stepped up to the mile in 2010, and Drew Hunter, who finished second in 2015.

The Girls’ adidas Dream 100 features

Diandrenique Gaines of Port Gibson is the Mississippi 100m girls record-holder and is a four-time state champion.

Deanna Knowling of Woodland Hills, California, twice a state champion and undefeated at 100m in her senior year.

Tianna Randle of Humble, Texas set a 100m state record of 11.31 and is the reigning state champion.

Kennedi Sanders of Madison, Mississippi, 2019 Mississippi state high school champion at 200m.

While the Boys’ adidas Dream 100 will see

Mario Heslop of Somerset, New Jersey, is a three-time state champion and state record-holder

Ryan Martin of Stafford, Texas won 4A district, regional and state titles at 100m in his senior year.

Seneca Milledge of Fort Myers, Florida is the 2A state champion at 100m

Ashton O’Connor of Houston, Texas is the state champion at 100m and holds regional and district titles

Arian Smith of Bradley, Florida is the reigning 2A state champion at 200m

The adidas Dream Mile and adidas Dream 100 use the same specially constructed track as the pros, such as the likes of reigning US 100m Champion Noah Lyles and 2016 Olympic 400m Champion Shaunae Miller-Uibo at the adidas Boost Boston Games.
Before action kicks off on the track, the public will participate in the new adidas Boost Back Bay Mile races, held on the same course as the elite races. The races will be divided by age group. Registration is available here.
